Limitations and alternatives
Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of the MyEyeDr. Careers site, there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations, and potential solutions. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed below.
Known limitations for the MyEyeDr. Careers site:
- Join Talent Network Form: the form has animation in the buttons and the color and contrast are not conformant. MyEyeDr. does not control the form and we have contacted our website provider so they can edit and ensure the compliance of the form.
- Main menu drop-down: the main menu does not automatically activate and drop when in focus because the menu has a secondary activation. Labels have been added to the menu so it is announced that the drop-down is there. It must be activated by the Intro key or the space key to drop down.
- Join Talent Network pop-up: in some cases, this link shows up as a broken link for automated audits because this is a false positive that does not recognize the link as a pop-up. If you have trouble accessing this link, please ensure the browser you are using is not blocking pop-ups.
- Empty links: there are empty links that can be recognized by automated audits because these links are generated from the script from the theme used by the website; these links cannot be erased.
- Aria-hidden: there is an occurrence where aria-hidden elements are flagged; however, that is concurrent with image/link carousels.
