Ecommerce Manager

About the role
MyEyeDr. is looking for an eCommerce subject matter expert to fill our eCommerce Manager role. The eCommerce manager will support merchandising and optimization for their ecommerce platform.  The Ecommerce Manager will be responsible for ecommerce reporting and analysis, as well as developing merchandising and testing ideas to drive business performance.  To be successful in this role, the candidate should have strong experience driving growth in an ecommerce program. This role will report to the Director, eCommerce.

This is a hybrid remote role, offering a flexible work arrangement out of either our Raleigh, NC or Vienna, VA offices.

You Will

• Manage day-to-day ecommerce reporting and analysis; understand current performance vs business goals and identify key trends and drivers.
• Leverage web analytics and platform capabilities like site search to understand user intent and demand patterns.
• Monitor site health and performance to understand the customer journey and identify opportunities to reduce site/cart abandonment.
• Develop and execute site merchandising plans to increase sales and optimize product promotion.
• Develop and execute A/B testing program to optimize site conversion rate and drive AOV.
• Manage product portfolio and relevant content, including product specifications, pricing, product detail page updates; support product and pricing updates as needed.
• Partner closely with Marketing team to generate effective digital marketing campaigns and a compelling promotional calendar; partner with CRM team to execute successful email and SMS campaigns.
• Test and validate pricing and promotion setup, new products, and new site features to ensure successful launch.
• Solve difficult and complex issues as they arise.
• As a subject matter expert, coach, review, and delegate work to others.
• Partner with suppliers and internal teams to launch new products.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in e-commerce.

About You

• Bachelor degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required
• Master’s degree a plus
• 7+ years experience in eCommerce
• Experience in health care related industries is a plus
• An eCommerce subject matter expert with deep ecommerce experience; comfortable and confident with day-to-day operations for an ecommerce site
• Familiar with ecommerce platforms like Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, and VTEX
• Experience with Google Analytics, PowerBI, or other site/data analysis tools
• Strong understanding of ecommerce business metrics and common web analytics platforms
• Understand conversion rate optimization; experience driving a conversion rate optimization program
• Detail oriented; organized and precise approach to validating site changes
• Ability to solve difficult and complex problems
• Proactive and action oriented; drives focus on business opportunities with broader teams
