About the role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager to join our team who has a passion for crafting exceptional online shopping experiences and possess a strong background in eCommerce development. As an IT Product Manager Ecommerce and Digital Engineering at MyEyeDr. you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our ECommerce application built on the VTEX platform and other Digital Applications. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing the performance, functionality, and user experience of our high-volume ECommerce website.
Reporting to the IT Sr. Manager, Ecommerce & Digital Engineering, this is a hybrid role with a flexible work arrangement out of our Vienna, VA or Raleigh, NC offices.
 
You Will
  • Facilitate all Scrum and product management relevant meetings, ensuring efficient communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Review business requirements to understand the project's scope and objectives. Translate these requirements into detailed user stories in Jira, assisting the development team in aligning their tasks with the project goals.
  • Support the Agile development process by aiding in sprint planning, review meetings, and retrospectives, ensuring all team members are on track and focused on delivering high-quality outputs.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive product-related documentation in Confluence, including project plans, design documents, and release notes, to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration across teams.
  • Oversee the implementation of VTEX and other eCommerce platforms, ensuring that product launches are executed smoothly and efficiently.
  • Utilize tools such as Jira and Confluence to manage tasks, track progress, and enhance collaboration within cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure adherence to Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices, including the use of version control systems, automated testing, and deployment pipelines, to maintain the reliability and efficiency of product deployments.
About You
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in high-volume ECommerce application development and IT Product Management.
  • Scrum or Agile Certification is preferred.
  • Experience working on Ecommerce Platform is required and experience with  VTEX, Shopify, CommerceCloud is plus
  • Knowledge of MS SQL. Azure DevOps, no SQL, Json knowledge is highly desired
  • Vision Care domain knowledge and experience in selling eye care products via a high-volume website are highly desirable.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment, utilizing tools such as Jira and Confluence to manage tasks, track progress, and facilitate collaboration within cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices, including version control systems (e.g., Github, bitbucket), automated testing, and deployment pipelines, to ensure the reliability and efficiency of test cases.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
