Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

 

About the role

The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager supports and partners with various departments across the organization. Reporting to the Senior Director, FP&A Business Support, this role manages the reporting, budget, and forecasting of operating metrics, assumptions, and financial performance. This position is also responsible for ongoing analysis of operational performance identifying both risks and opportunities to meet our financial goals.  

This is a hybrid remote role, offering a flexible work arrangement out of  our Vienna, VA or Raleigh, NC offices.

 

You Will

  • Lead ongoing value creation ad-hoc analysis around business opportunities and risks.
  • Review and analyze inventory and margin reports, conduct research, and perform cost and profitability analytical studies.
  • Develop presentations and analytical materials to be presented to senior and executive management.
  • Maintain and develop various financial models and standard templates.
  • Work with regional operators to set and track operational goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Develop sales and expense operational reports for field operators.
  • Partner within the Finance and Accounting teams and across the organization to build the optimal value for the organization.

 

About You

  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other business concentrations or the equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
  • Five + years of financial analysis, accounting, or transaction advisory experience
  • CPA/ CFA is preferred
  • Expert experience with MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment
  • Excellent quantitative, written, communication and presentation skills
  • Experience working with SQL is a plus
  • Experience with Oracle, Hyperion Essbase/SmartView or equivalent is a plus
  • Experience with statistical analysis of large data sets a plus.
