About the role

MyEyeDr is seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Manager to join our dynamic team at a leading private equity owned vision healthcare organization.  In this role, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering focused financial reporting and analysis, creating financial modeling to support the key financial processes of monthly forecasting, budgeting and long-range planning. Providing critical insights to support the company’s growth and profitability by identifying both risks and opportunities to expected future financial performance.

This professional will have experience with providing financial insight and preparing presentations for internal customers such as business function leaders to include c-suite leadership and to external customers such as; private equity sponsors, lenders, analysts, and rating agencies.

This is a hybrid role with a flexible work arrangement out of our Vienna, VA or Raleigh, NC offices.


You Will

  • Lead the development of financial forecasts, budgets and long-term financial plans. Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, management reports and dashboards. Present financial data to senior management and private equity sponsors, highlighting key performance indicators and financial highlights.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage departmental budgets. Monitor and control expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines, and identifying areas for cost optimization.
  • Evaluate potential investments and acquisitions. Conducts ROI analyses to assess the financial feasibility of expansion projects and strategics initiatives.
  • Partner with accounting to ensure that the cash flow projections for current forecast, budgets and long-range planning are consistent with their transaction treatment methodology and expected timing. Cash flow forecasting and modeling are key to this role.
  • Develop financial models to forecast various scenarios and long-range planning and assess potential risks and opportunities, guiding decision making processes.
  • Partner with executive leadership to formulate financial strategies aligned with the company’s long-term goals and private equity investor expectations.

About You

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in progressive Finance roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • MBA or advanced financial certifications (CPA, CFA) preferred.
  • Strong financial analysis and modeling skills, with a deep understanding of financial concepts and key performance indicators
  • Proven experience with capital planning management to include return on investment analysis and reporting.
  • Prior experience in private equity backed environments and familiarity with investor reporting requirements a plus.
  • Proven experience with planning and delivering a monthly enterprise-wide forecast, annual budget and long-range planning.
