About the role
As a member of the Talent Technology & Analytics team, the Lead HRIS Analyst for Talent and Organizational Development is responsible for administering the tools and systems associated with Talent Acquisition and Staffing, Performance Management, and Learning and Organizational Development. As the primary technical analyst partnering with these functional teams, your expertise will support key HR initiatives and strategic priorities by interpreting data and promoting access to information. You will configure systems, optimize processes, and produce reports within these categories to drive data focused decision making. Reporting to the Director of Talent Technology & Analytics, you will work in partnership with many teams within HR, as well as cross functionally including Finance, Internal Operations, and Information Technology.

This is a hybrid remote role, offering a flexible work arrangement out of either our Raleigh, NC or Vienna, VA offices.

 

You Will

  • Configure and oversee maintenance of a variety of HR tools and systems such as the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Candidate Relationship Management System (CRM), Learning Management System (LMS), performance management platform(s) and more.
  • Combine HR functional knowledge with technical expertise to drive process and system efficiencies and ensure accurate delivery of data to the business.
  • Write, maintain, and deliver a variety of reports using an assortment of tools for ongoing needs, often with varying business leader requests.
  • Analyze and summarize data and trends to isolate key metrics across multiple functional areas.
  • Identify opportunities and make recommendations for process improvement to standardize and streamline reporting.
  • Problem solve and communicate effectively with leadership to deliver data driven people insights.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and/or unexpected results or process flaws.
  • Participate in vendor management to efficiently collaborate and project manage new features and system implementations.
  • Demonstrate integrity in keeping information confidential and following protocols for sharing data.

About You

  • A bachelor’s degree in information systems, data science, human resource management, or business administration, or related field or equivalent certification.
  • 5+ years’ experience with cloud software or in a technology-focused role, preferably administration of systems related to HR (e.g., Human Capital Management, Talent Management)
  • 1+ years’ experience independently managing projects ideally related to HR system implementations.
  • Advanced-level skills in Microsoft Excel for analysis and presentation of data; experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI a plus
  • Experience researching information, building requirements, and analyzing information to arrive at valid conclusions, recommendations, and plans of action.
  • Proven success in working independently and the ability to anticipate stakeholder needs with some level of ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated customer focus and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations, principles, and practices related to Human Resources a plus.
