About the role
MyEyeDr. is seeking a leader of Supply Chain who has deep operational knowledge, broad strategic insight, and is a performance strategist. This individual must have highly developed leadership qualities and interpersonal skills.  This role will manage 2-4 direct reports in addition to overseeing a team of 30+ specialists assigned to the Distribution Center.

Reporting to the Executive Vice President, Merchandising and Supply Chain, they will develop capability to scale and execute the level of support needed to sustain process excellence capabilities, focused on owning the end-to-end customer delivery experience and ongoing strategy. This role will balance long term and short-term strategy to maintain and build operating excellence.

This role is based out of the Raleigh, NC area with frequent travel to Greensboro, NC. 

You Will

• Be held responsible for the overall financial performance of the Supply Chain and Inventory function
• Develop and execute internal processes and control the strategy to achieve supply chain objectives
• Develop and direct the management of the Company’s Distribution Center to ensure timely ordering processing, accurate inventory control and proper warehouse management
• Lead Supply Chain operations in the implementation of a new Warehouse Management System
• Develop and execute critical supply chain KPI’s and performance targets
• Lead ongoing continuous improvement efforts to drive efficiency and cost savings
• Manages vendor and third-party SLA to assure that the organization is receiving the best value and service
• Strong partnership with Operations, Purchasing, Pricing, Accounting and other departments to execute on supply chain strategies that support and align with organization needs
• Develop and cultivate exceptional cross-functional relationships, enabling supply chain organization to partner effectively with all internal partners to achieve the organization’s growth objectives
• Escalate all major supply constraints and propose alternatives to respective forums for decision review and endorsement.
• Actively participate and support rollout of new products
• Cultivate strong relationships and plans with all external supply chain partners, achieving performance excellence in support of the company’s continued growth

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations or related field required. MBA preferred
• 15+ years of experience in supply chain operations overseeing multi-site Distribution centers and 3PLs
• Proven ability to provide senior level management of a portfolio of supply chain execution projects across multiple sites simultaneously
• Proficient understanding of all levels of the supply chain process (inventory planning, warehouse management, etc.)
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP/WMS systems
• Proven track record of working successfully with external vendors, co-manufacturers and warehousing and logistics providers who solves problems and resolves conflicts to achieve a positive outcome
• Demonstrated working knowledge of supply chain logistics processes including distribution requirements planning, transportation and logistics planning, inventory control, inventory management
• Demonstrated experience as a strong leader who can prioritize, communicate clearly, and influence across cross-functional teams
• Experience in growth environments with an emphasis on strategic planning capability combined with hands-on execution
• Robust analytical skills, including the ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, develop recommendations, implement strategies and report out at an executive level
