About the role

The Distribution Specialist is responsible for facilitating the daily dissemination of products and processing of frame orders to the Office locations. The Distribution Specialist interacts with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about products and products orders.


This role reports to the Sr. Manager, Distribution Center and is performed onsite out of our Greensboro, NC location.  


You Will 

  • The Distribution Center Specialist is the point person for all patient orders, special orders or office location special requests
  • Respond to voice mail and email inquiries regarding distribution requests
  • Process patient orders, to include the receiving of materials, packing of orders and shipping
  • Evaluate inventory of frames, ensuring that excess inventory is distributed for sales
  • Ensure the timely completion and restocking of all returns
  • Forward credit memos to accounting department for processing
  • Process vendor orders received for both patient special orders and for restocking of inventory
  • Process daily shipments of product received and ensure they are distributed accordingly
  • Tag all incoming inventory
  • Submit all vendor invoices with Accounting department for processing
  • Receive and process stock orders via website


About You

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of work experience, Warehouse/Distribution Center or Customer Service preferred
