About the role

The Director of Revenue Cycle Systems & Analytics oversees the successful maintenance and operations of systems related to revenue cycle management and the necessary reporting, analysis and development needed to support the organization. We look to them to partner with our revenue cycle and operations teams to help standardize the build and maintenance of systems data but also to identify opportunities for improvement in an ever-evolving technology landscape. They are accountable for project and analytical results by developing methods and overseeing requirements gathering with little upfront guidance to achieve strategic goals for senior leadership. This person should be creatively analytical as an out-of-the-box thinker, who is able to identify, understand, and evolve highly manual and inefficient processes into automated solutions while utilizing hard research to support ideas. Their team will be responsible for the data extraction, analysis, and insight visualization of reporting needs related to all Revenue Cycle-related Teams.  This role requires a blend of soft skills (clear communication and teamwork) and technical skills (data manipulation and project management) in a self-starting environment.

This role reports to the Chief Revenue Cycle Officer and is a hybrid remote role, offering a flexible work arrangement out of our Vienna, VA or Raleigh, NC offices.

You Will 

  • Represent MyEyeDr Revenue Cycle systems and technology processes/teams with senior leadership including C-Suite
  • Act as the project leader for Revenue Cycle Analytics implementation and systems to enhance current and future system functionality
  • Monitor and report on Revenue Cycle system(s) performance and proposes new ideas and strategies to implement
  • Manage and maintain RC Systems & Analytics budget, staffing and headcount needs
  • Direct the management of all Revenue Cycle Analytics platforms, systems, interfaces and exchanges functionality and performance
  • Work on complex problems in which analysis requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors to secure a solution. Proven advanced analytical skills are necessary
  • Coordinate regular Systems reviews with other department heads and interdepartmental leadership to ensure proper compliance in use of Revenue Cycle-related systems
  • Work closely with cross-departmental teams, all relevant systems, and automations to help find the best available solution for any given process or identified opportunity
  • Manage the reporting and analysis for the department
  • Coordinate the management and maintenance within the PM software for all Revenue Cycle related functions
  • Manage workflow of the Managed Vision Care support team dedicated to office-support
  • Partner and collaborate with program developers to understand their needs, while concurrently working with the business to provide consistent communication and on track delivery.
  • Drive business adoption and participation by clearly and consistently communicating the value of existing software innovations as well as new system solutions

About You

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a healthcare systems leadership role
  • Strong project management, system development, and process innovation background
  • Must possess strong knowledge of business, finance, healthcare systems, solution engineering and/or analytics
  • Must be adept in the use of sophisticated software programs
