Treasury Cash Accountant

About the role

The Treasury Cash Accountant is responsible for performing and assisting in the retail office accounting tasks of the business and reports to the Manager of General Accounting.

 

This is a hybrid remote role, offering a flexible work arrangement out of either our Raleigh, NC or Vienna, VA offices.

 

You Will

  • Upload POS data and bank transactions to accounting software.
  • Reconcile bank transactions to POS system transactions within Oracle by using Oracle, Acuity, DTS, and bank websites to monitor and reconcile office deposits.
  • Investigate and resolve transaction variances (cash, check and merchant processing) by working with offices and banks.
  • Assist with preparing month end journal entries.
  • Maintain Access database for pulling POS data.
  • Assist offices with care credit password resets.
  • Prepare support for external audit.
  • Set up Banks in accounting software for Vendor payments.

 

About You

  • BS in Accounting or four years of related work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to utilize online cash management systems
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
