About the role
As a member of the Financial Planning & Analysis Group, this position supports and partners with many departments across the organization. This position is responsible for ongoing evaluation of operational processes, cost tracking, pricing and product offering margin analysis. The position requires strong collaboration and communication skills; organizational skills; attention to detail, management capabilities; and ability to lead multiple deliverables in a timely manner.

This is a hybrid remote role, offering a flexible work arrangement out of either our Raleigh, NC or Vienna, VA offices

You Will

  • Lead ongoing value creation ad-hoc analysis around business opportunities and risks
  • Review and analyze inventory and margin reports, conduct research and perform cost and profitability analytical studies
  • Develop presentations and analytical material to be presented to senior and executive management
  • Maintain and develop various financial models and standard templates
  • Assist in month-end closing, prepares journal entries as necessary, analyze inventory evaluation, and inventory roll forward
  • Analyze cost accounting data and assist in cost reconciliation
  • Work with Regional operators to set and track operational goals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Develop sales and expense operational reports for field operators

About You

  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other business concentrations
  • Minimum of five years of financial analysis, accounting or transaction advisory experience
  • CPA/ CFA is preferred
  • High proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience working with SQL is a plus
  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment
  • Excellent quantitative, written, communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with Oracle, Hyperion Essbase/SmartView or equivalent is a plus
