About the role
The Director, Pricing and Promotions will report to the EVP, Merchandising and Supply Chain and manage a team of 2-4 associates.  This role will drive value of MyEyeDr.’s product strategy through analysis and integration of product, promotional and patient insights to drive profitability, assess and plan for product positioning amid competitor landscape, and implement promotional offerings to drive incremental sales.  This role will consistently look to identify new product and pricing opportunities in various categories and markets and drive long term financial improvements for MyEyeDr.

An individual in this role will use a disciplined data-driven approach and a strong understanding of portfolio profitability. This individual will assist in developing insightful analyses to provide concise recommendations for leadership to evaluate & prioritize initiatives and capabilities.

You Will

• Support the EVP, Merchandising/Supply Chain by developing and executing overall strategy of promotions and pricing opportunities that drive revenue growth and gross margin improvements
• Develop and maintain pricing strategy based on changes in cost, managed-care and competitive environment
• Partner with Head of Analytics to build out strategy that maximizes profitability based on insurance schedules and payor mix by market
• Identify and execute a promotion schedule / strategy that maximizes basket size based on seasonality and findings though patient segmentation
• Develop and present executive level analysis and recommendations based on findings, and corresponding execution plan as needed
• Partner with cross functional leaders in strategic planning to identify gaps/opportunities as well as develop plans and business models to address and drive growth, efficiencies, and impact of offerings
• Other product related projects, as needed

About You

• 7+ years of experience in pricing and promotion strategy
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Data Analytics, or related field
• Intimate knowledge of pricing/promotion strategy, and how that drives enterprise revenue and profitability
• Experience working with health plans and insurance benefits
• Demonstrated experience as a strong leader who can prioritize, communicate clearly, and influence across cross-functional teams
• Robust analytical skills, including the ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, develop recommendations, implement strategies and report out at an executive level
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, communicating results to senior leadership
• Ability to create relationships and understand technical and nontechnical cross-functional teams at the executive level of an organization, and be an effective decision maker amid varying perspectives
• Fluency in Tableau, Microsoft SQL, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams
• Ability to travel up to 25%
